Elias Izagirre Perez, a 30-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically killed on September 6, 2015, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a violent Labor Day weekend in the city, which saw multiple shootings and fatalities. Perez was pronounced dead in the 1100 block of Glenfiddich Drive following a shooting. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the scene and began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
