Sequinn Desmond Skinner, a 29-year-old African American male, was critically injured during a shooting that occurred around 2 p.m. on October 1, 2015, near the intersection of West 4th Street and Jefferson Street in Plymouth, North Carolina. He succumbed to his injuries the following day. The incident has been under investigation by the State Bureau of Investigation and local law enforcement agencies.
