Davie McSwain, an 82-year-old man from Thomasville, North Carolina, tragically passed away on October 29, 2015, at his home. He was born on April 26, 1933, in Davidson County. His death was part of a double homicide that also claimed the life of his 78-year-old wife, Joan McSwain. The couple was attacked in their home during a robbery. The assailant, Lloyd Wayne Franklin, and an accomplice, Jennifer Michelle Lanning, were identified as suspects. Franklin faced two counts of first-degree murder, ...
