Jhamel Leonard, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on March 9, 2016, in Saint Pauls, North Carolina. Leonard, a former standout athlete at St. Pauls High School, was found dead inside a car at the R/S Food Mart on North Fifth Street. The investigation revealed that Leonard was shot on Alford Road following an argument about a gun with David McAllister, a 24-year-old male.
