Annie Perry, a 71-year-old African American woman from Lawrence, North Carolina, passed away on March 21, 2016. Her death was the result of a tragic murder-suicide involving her husband, Curtis Lee Perry, aged 72. The Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office responded to a welfare check at their residence on NC Hwy 97 East in Tarboro, where they discovered Annie Perry's body in the bedroom, deceased from gunshot wounds.
