Veronica Blaine Hilton Jester, a 26-year-old woman from Pink Hill, North Carolina, was tragically shot and killed on the evening of August 6, 2018. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. at a residence located at 2059 NC 241 Hwy. South, just outside Pink Hill. Deputies from the Duplin County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and found Veronica Jester with a fatal gunshot wound to the head behind the home.
