The Harnett County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation into the shooting, which was one of two
incidents that occurred within a short distance of each other on the same evening. The first shooting took place just after 7:40 p.m. on Lorane Lane, where 29-year-old Larry Jr. Moore was injured and transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Five minutes later, authorities were alerted to the second shooting at McLean's residence.
As of now, there have been no arrests or suspects identified in connection with McLean's murder. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward.
