Spencer Garrett Harrison, a 21-year-old male from Durham, NC, was found critically wounded in the early hours of April 4, 2016, in the 4800 block of University Drive. Paramedics rushed him to Duke University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later that afternoon. The incident occurred at an apartment complex, and investigators initially indicated that the shooting did not appear to be random.
