Dondi Hutcherson Jr., an 18-year-old African American male, was tragically found dead on July 8, 2016, in his home on Blackmore Road near Warsaw, North Carolina. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, having been shot at least eight times. The discovery was made by his father, who found him lifeless in their family home. The Duplin County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation into the homicide, but no arrests were made immediately following the incident.
