Chirrelle Nicole Scott, a 29-year-old African American woman, was tragically found shot to death inside her car on October 11, 2016, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred at the intersection of East W.T. Harris Boulevard and North Tryon Street in University City. According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department , officers were called to the scene after a 911 call reported a vehicle had been shot into at the intersection.
