Michael Allen Murray, a 40-year-old male from Halifax, NC, was tragically shot and killed on January 26, 2017. The incident occurred in the Darlington community of Halifax County around 8:10 p.m. Michael Allen Murray was shot multiple times with a rifle by his son, who was younger than 16 years old. The son then called 911 and reported the shooting. The shooting was a domestic-related incident, and the son was taken into secure custody.
