On February 24, 2017, Bryan Ja'Quan Thompson, a 22-year-old African American male, was fatally shot in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred on Yorkdale Drive, where officers discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds. A third victim, also wounded, was located on Spring Creek Lane after fleeing the scene. Bryan Thompson succumbed to his injuries, while the other two victims survived.
