Quajuae Alexus Kennedy, a 21-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on April 7, 2017, in Hickory, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the parking lot of McCroskey’s Irish Pub and Grill, where Kennedy, along with two other 21-year-olds, Justin Michael Aiken and Cody Manood Bouphavong, were fatally shot.
