Willie Solomon Jr., a 35-year-old African American man, tragically lost his life on July 29, 2017, in Scotland Neck, North Carolina. The incident occurred following an argument with a friend, which escalated into a fatal confrontation. According to Scotland Neck police Captain Tommy Parker, three shots were fired, and two of them struck Willie Solomon Jr., leading to his untimely death.
