Jervais Wan Ya Cain, a 19-year-old male from Charlotte, NC, was found dead on November 20, 2017. His body was discovered during a welfare check conducted by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department at a residence on the city's north side. The police identified Jervais as the victim of a homicide, and it was reported that he had been shot and killed.
