Melanie Anita Clark, a 62-year-old African American woman from Salisbury, NC, was tragically murdered on March 26, 2018. Melanie was a beloved member of her community, known for her kindness and dedication to her church, Progressive Outreach Ministry. She had worked at Freightliner for over 20 years and was looking forward to her retirement. Melanie was also a devoted grandmother, raising her grandson Joshua Dimitri Clark, despite the challenges she faced with him.
