Darrell Atkinson, a 47-year-old man from Wilmington, NC, was tragically shot and killed on June 5, 2018. He was found outside a residence in the 700 block of North 11th Street around 7:40 p.m. Witnesses reported seeing two suspects fleeing the scene on foot before getting into a black sports car. Despite ongoing investigations, no arrests have been made in connection with his death.
