Chadiya Jones, a 19-year-old woman from Garner, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on August 30, 2018. Chadiya was shot at the In Town Suites Extended Stay hotel in Garner. The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. on U.S. Highway 70. Despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries.

The investigation into Chadiya Jones' death led to the arrest of Markease Morgan, a 21-year-old man from Garner. Morgan was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting. Auth ...
