Jeremiah Tywan Grissett, a 38-year-old African American male, was reported missing in mid-December 2018. He was last seen on December 14 after borrowing a vehicle from his family, which was later found abandoned. On January 26, 2019, his body was discovered by a group of bird hunters in a wooded area off Ten Mile Road in Tabor City, North Carolina. The Columbus County Sheriff's Office confirmed the discovery and stated that the North Carolina Medical Examiner's Office would conduct an autopsy to ...
