Jeremiah Tywan Grissett, a 38-year-old African American male, was reported missing in mid-December 2018. He was last seen on December 14 after borrowing a vehicle from his family, which was later found abandoned. On January 26, 2019, his body was discovered by a group of bird hunters in a wooded area off Ten Mile Road in Tabor City, North Carolina.
