Jamarcus Lavar Sellers, a 27-year-old African American male, was found shot to death on February 7, 2019, in a wooded area near Pinetops, North Carolina. The Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office discovered his body while investigating a tip concerning a missing person. The body was located around 10 a.m. near the intersection of Davistown-Mercer and Jenkins Farm roads.
