Adonious Hawkins Jr., a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 10, 2019, in Henderson, North Carolina. He was shot and killed on Charles Street in the evening. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Adonious succumbed to his injuries. His funeral was held on July 18, 2019, at the Chapel of Davis-Royster Funeral Service.
