Leontay Trevon Bryant, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 9, 2019, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. On that fateful day, at approximately 12:53 PM, the Rocky Mount Police Department received a distress call reporting a shooting incident on the 500 block of Cascade Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Leontay Bryant suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being swiftly transported to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
