Robert Darrell Taylor Jr., a 22-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on August 15, 2019, in Durham, North Carolina. The incident occurred on University Drive, where Taylor was driving when shots were fired at his vehicle from a passing car. The hail of gunfire resulted in numerous bullet holes in Taylor's car, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. An 18-year-old male, whose name has not been released, was also shot and seriously injured in the same incident.
