Anthony Devon Leakes, a 40-year-old African American male, was tragically found dead on December 23, 2019, in his home located in northwest Charlotte, North Carolina. The discovery was made by his girlfriend, who found him with multiple gunshot wounds around 9:30 p.m. on that fateful evening. Upon arrival, officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed that Leakes had been shot several times and was pronounced dead at the scene by Medic.
