Tyler William Hamilton, a 30-year-old firefighter from Granite Quarry, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on January 22, 2020, in a murder-suicide incident. Hamilton, who was known for his dedication to firefighting and his kind-hearted nature, was ambushed and fatally shot by Andrew Lee Myers, a 26-year-old man from Rockwell, North Carolina. The incident occurred outside the home of Myers' estranged wife, Alaina Myers, on North Main Street in Granite Quarry.
