Tiyler Graves, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 30, 2020, in Burlington, North Carolina. Tiyler was shot and killed on East Holt Street around 9:20 p.m. while walking home from a Family Dollar store with friends. The incident also involved a 21-year-old male, Torrance Daye Jr., who was injured but survived. Tiyler was pronounced dead at the scene.
