Denzel Jarcus Wright, a 27-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 20, 2020, in Forest City, North Carolina. On that fateful evening, emergency crews responded to a shooting incident at approximately 7:23 p.m. on Greenfield Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered Wright suffering from a gunshot wound to his left leg. He was immediately transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
