Tevonte Laquan Epps, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 16, 2020, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Epps was shot outside an apartment complex in the 2800 block of Hosta Drive around 9:40 p.m. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Another individual was also injured in the incident but survived with minor injuries.
