Vontairius Antonio Doster, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 13, 2020, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred at the Southside Homes Apartment complex in the 3400 block of Griffith Street. According to reports, the shooting took place around 1:52 a.m., and Vontairius was transported to Atrium Health’s Carolina’s Medical Center by others before the police arrived. Despite the medical staff's efforts, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
