Hilda Luckett, a 58-year-old woman from New Bern, North Carolina, tragically died on August 11, 2020, from an apparent gunshot wound at her residence. The incident occurred following an argument with her brother, Theodore Luckett, who was 59 years old at the time. According to the New Bern Police Department, Theodore was arrested at the scene and charged with open murder. He was jailed without bond.
