Shervella M. Perry, a 40-year-old African American woman, was tragically shot and killed on November 19, 2021, in New Bern, North Carolina. The incident occurred at approximately 11:11 p.m. on the 1000 block of Raleigh Street. Alongside Shervella Perry, another individual, Gerard Brimmer, a 43-year-old man, was also wounded by a gunshot and transported to CarolinaEast Medical Center for treatment.
