Raekwon Powell, a 25-year-old African American male from Lumberton, North Carolina, was tragically shot and killed on October 15, 2020. The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. on the 350 block of Quail Run Road. Deputies from the Robeson County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and found Powell beside the roadway suffering from gunshot wounds.
