Derreck McDonald, a 36-year-old male, was identified as the offender in the murder of Zuri Norman, a 26-year-old male, in east Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred on October 30, 2020, around 11:30 p.m. near Winged Elm Court. Norman was found with an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
