On January 21, 2021, Francia Magally Martinez, a 41-year-old woman of Hispanic ethnicity, was found dead inside her car, which was located down an embankment on West Tenth Avenue in Gastonia, NC. The discovery was made when police were called to check on the vehicle around 10:25 a.m. Upon arrival, officers pronounced her dead at the scene.
