Mario Andretti Dorsett, a 39-year-old man from Greensboro, NC, was tragically shot and killed on February 6, 2021. The incident occurred around 8:33 p.m. when officers responded to reports of a gun being fired in the 1700 block of Brighton Street. Upon arrival, they found Dorsett suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately taken to a local hospital, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries later that night.
