Donyell Lemont Powell, a 46-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 16, 2021, in Tarboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the Pine Valley Mobile Home Park, where Powell was found deceased in his vehicle. The Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of shots fired and discovered Powell's lifeless body upon arrival.
