Zakylen Greylen Ky Harris, a 7-year-old African American boy, tragically lost his life on April 21, 2021, in Hickory, North Carolina. Zakylen was riding in a car with his mother and younger brothers when he was fatally shot in the neck. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. along Tate Boulevard SE. The mother believes the shooting was a result of a road rage incident, as she had accidentally cut off another vehicle.
