Direz Lukeem Shannon, a 31-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 12, 2021, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Direz, affectionately known as "Rez," was born on February 10, 1990, and was employed at Dewey's Bakery as a Mixer. He was a beloved father, son, and companion, leaving behind five children, his parents Warren and Joy Shannon, and his loving companion, Cassie Martinez.
