Alibria "Libby" Kerns, a 47-year-old woman from Rowan County, North Carolina, was reported missing in July 2021. Her remains were discovered on January 26, 2022, in a shallow grave behind a mobile home in Huntersville, North Carolina. The discovery was made after the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department shared information with the Huntersville Police Department based on a tip related to a missing persons case believed to have ended in a homicide.
