On March 19, 2024, 55-year-old Sureita Angelia Samuels was tragically shot and killed while sitting in her vehicle in the parking lot of a Walgreens in Huntersville, North Carolina. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and observed a man exiting Samuels' vehicle immediately afterward. The suspect then entered a black Dodge Ram truck and fled the scene.
