Sheronda Shaw, a 43-year-old African American woman from Laurinburg, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on August 20, 2021, following a shooting incident in Maxton, North Carolina. According to reports, the incident occurred at the intersection of Rockingham Road and North Patterson Street. Shaw was transported to Scotland Memorial Hospital in a private vehicle, where she succumbed to her injuries.
