Alena Lynn Hull, a 34-year-old woman from Maxton, North Carolina, was tragically shot and killed in her vehicle on June 1, 2021. The incident occurred at the intersection of Elrod Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Maxton. Alena, who was of Pembroke descent, was found deceased in her car by Robeson County deputies who responded to a call around 11:15 p.m. that night. The Robeson County Sheriff's Office confirmed her death and initiated an investigation into the shooting.
