On October 20, 2021, 34-year-old Gilbert Noel Guzman, a male, was found shot to death in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Cary, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. at the 1200 block of Village Greenway, near SE Maynard Road and East Cary Middle School. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Guzman dead and another individual seriously injured. The injured person was taken to the hospital for treatment.
