Rivien Daniels, a 29-year-old African American woman from Mayodan, NC, was found dead inside a home on Moir Mill Road in Reidsville, NC, on February 9, 2022. She had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene after Quantez Moore, a 30-year-old man, arrived at a hospital in Eden with a gunshot wound.
Moore was later airlifted to another hospital for further treatment.
The investigation revealed that Moore had been shot at his home on Moir Mill Road, where authorities subsequently discovered Daniels' body. The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation into the incident, and Terrion Vincent, a 21-year-old man, was identified as a suspect. Vincent was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, first-degree burglary, and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
Vincent is currently being held in the Rockingham County Detention Facility without bond. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to determine if there is any connection between this case and a previous FedEx theft ring in which Moore was involved. The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office has urged anyone with information about the case to come forward.
