Richard Boyd, a 48-year-old Black / African American male, was a victim of a fatal shooting incident that occurred in Detroit, Michigan. On the morning of April 5, 2021, Detroit police officers were dispatched to a residence in the 5170 block of Fairview Street on the city's east side following reports of a shooting.
