Andres Martinez Vargas, a 29-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically passed away on August 20, 2022, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. According to reports, he was shot on the 2500 block of Sink Street early in the morning. Before police arrived at the scene, someone had already taken him to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The Winston-Salem Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division took over the investigation.
