Desmond Ray Balogun, a 30-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 2, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a domestic dispute with Clifford Smith, a 51-year-old male. The altercation took place on Green Ivy Lane, where Desmond was shot by Clifford.
