Antonio Dashawn Hargrove, also known as "Bobo," was a 25-year-old African American male who tragically lost his life on November 19, 2022, in Oxford, North Carolina. On that fateful day, officers responded to a call reporting a person shot in the 300 block of Person Street. Upon arrival, they found Antonio Hargrove in the driveway, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

On November 23, 2022, Curtis Antwan Person Jr. was arrested in Henderson by agents from the State Bureau of Investigation and officers from the Henderson and Oxford police departments. Curtis Antwan Person Jr. was charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bond. Additionally, on December 2, 2022, 35-year-old Damian Elon Terry was arrested in Henderson and charged with first-degree murder in connection to the same incident. A juvenile was also arrested in Oxford in connection with the shooting.
