Michael Ben Mendoza, a 4-year-old boy from Gastonia, North Carolina, tragically died on December 13, 2022. The incident occurred in a trailer home in eastern Gaston County, where Michael and his sibling found a firearm. The gun discharged, and a bullet struck Michael in the head, resulting in his immediate death.
