Tony Edmond Barthelemy, a 15-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 17, 2006, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Tony was born on May 16, 1991, and was described as a beautiful child and a beloved son. On the night before Father's Day, Tony was kidnapped, beaten, and shot in the neck. His body was discovered in a wooded area in Algiers, New Orleans, on Father's Day, June 18, 2006. Tony fought for his life in a coma for two weeks before passing away on June 28, 2006.
